DRI Grant
Capital Region Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI)
In May of 2017, the city of Hudson applied for a NYS grant which invests $10M into specific cities, transforming downtown neighborhoods into vibrant communities where generations of New Yorkers can live, work, and raise families.
In August of the same year, Hudson was awarded a $10 million DRI grant.
The Hudson Development Corporation (HDC) was recognized by the Dept. of State for the role it played with the DRI Local Planning Committee in developing the city’s plan and identifying specific projects; indeed, recognizing the profound effect they would have would not have been possible without the work of the DRI-LPC and the HDC.
