Free Community Movie Night!

Join Hudson Development Corporation for a summer night of suspense, snacks, and shoreline fun as we present JAWS (1975) under the stars! Grab your beach blankets, lawn chairs, and favorite people, and head to the Henry Hudson Riverfront Park for a free outdoor movie night that’s sure to make a splash.

The evening kicks off at 8PM with tasty eats from Meat Hook, Trixie’s Sugar Cookies, and drinks available from Hudson Dry (zero proof) and Hudson Brewing Co. (21+). Then, thanks to our friends at Story Screen Cinema, we’ll fire up the projector for a screening of Spielberg’s legendary shark thriller once the sun goes down. Free popcorn! Otherwise it’s BYO everything – blankets, bug spray, cozy hoodies – and don’t forget your sense of adventure.

The Hudson Mile is Here!
Saturday, July 12 at 5pm • Warren Street, Hudson NY

Lace up your running shoes – the first-ever Hudson Mile is a one-mile road race right down iconic Warren Street, and it’s open to runners of all levels. Whether you’re spectating, chasing a personal best or just out to soak in the cheers, this fast, flat course delivers high energy and small-town charm in equal measure. The race kicks off at 5pm, and after the finish line, the fun keeps going – stick around to explore Hudson’s shops, grab a bite, and enjoy the downtown bar scene. It’s more than a race, it’s a celebration of community, speed, and local spirit. Hudson Development Corporation is the proud fiscal sponsor of this new event.

Sponsor or make a donation to cover the essential costs that make this event possible – from permits to race awards, race timing systems, and participation giveaways. Any proceeds beyond event costs will be donated to Friends of Hudson Youth, an all-volunteer organization that supports out-of-school programs for local youth through sports, creative expression, academics, and job skills – advancing our shared mission of community wellness and engagement.

HDC – in collaboration with the Hudson Business Coalition – coordinates a series of Business Roundtables featuring local speakers. The outcome stimulates positive dialogue among local business owners and serves as an incubator to help stimulate Hudson businesses.
